The property was on the edge of the CBD in a quiet location. We had a corner apartment that faced west for magnificent sunsets and were also able to view sunrises by looking around the corner of the balcony. The apartment had a washing machine (and clothes rack), dishwasher, cooktop, oven and full sized fridge. The rooftop bar had 360 degree views of Darwin and the glorious harbour, ideal to watch the first storm of the season. Sunsets were viewed by residents and visitors while sipping a cool drink. The Horizen cafe offered a delicious breakfast with lots of variety. It was about five minutes walk to restaurants or food outlets. Electric scooters (Beam) were available at the front door if required. Taxis were always quick. All staff were happy, courteous and able to assist. The pool was out of action due to maintenance, but a shuttle bus was available to other pool venues, and the Mindil market. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Zen. We have stayed there before. We love the location, the set out of the apartments, the views, the rooftop bar, and the friendly and helpful staff. It has, and is, everything we need for a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay in Darwin. We would stay there again if we were to visit Darwin.

The position of this property is great. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and waterfront and easy driving access to activities. The rooms are very clean and really well equipped with kitchen facilities, large fridge, AC and balcony. Also free parking. Also a lovely roof bar where we enjoyed live music on Sunday evening. Excellent service from reception if ever we had a query. We will definitely stay again.

The property is located walking distance into the main city. The rooftop bar is wonderful with views of the sunset. The pool heated and lovely to be in. As a disabled person the steps into the pool were great. The accessible room was good except for the positioning of the bed.

Apartment - clean, spacious kitchen and living room. We loved the balcony. The bed room was a little small but the space balanced. Pool - we enjoyed our time. Beautiful view. Clean. Temp was good. Pool noodles to use. Playground - our toddler loved it and made for a way to burn off some energy before we went out for the day Gym - adequate for a quick workout Cafe - great coffee. We enjoyed the food too Bar - loved the free welcome drinks and snacks. Friendly staff. Beautiful sunset view. Parking - easy to find a spot, free Location - not inside the city but easy to walk in. Woolworths and Cole's both about 10 mins walk. 15 mins walk to the waterfront/wave pool.

Breakfast was very nice, and the room was alright, It was a funny distribution thou since the living area was wide but the room was narrow, but it was mostly the building rather than the actual hotel. so it is understandable. The kitchen was easy to use and provided enough.

We have stayed here several times and the locality is good , we walked into town and to the waterfront. The breakfast is varied and comes quickly. The coffee is also good here. The rooftop bar is a nice way to wind down at the end of a busy day and they provide snacks. This time we opted for a poolside room and we did enjoy the outdoor seating area more than the other apartments upstairs .

Great value for money with breakfast included everyday. We also loved the rooftop lounge and outdoor seating area. A great 360 degree view of Darwin and the sunsets.The complimentary smorgasboard of meals and snacks on the rooftop was a real bonus. The staff were all lovely too. We also loved the beautiful pool which we visited everyday. The courtesy bus to the Mindil markets was a great service too

This is a fabulously located property, within easy walking distance from Darwin’s major attractions. Our 2 bedroom apartment comfortably accommodated 4 adults. It was great to have kitchen (with a full complement of cutlery etc) and laundry facilities in the apartment. The apartment situated down the end of the passageway was extremely quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The roof top bar was a ‘winner’ and the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
